DAY 1 – COSTA DEL SOL – TARIFA – TANGER

The day begins on the Costa del Sol, heading toward the Strait of Gibraltar, that stretch of sea that both separates and connects continents. There, we board for Morocco, where the bay of Tangier appears on the horizon as a prelude to the extraordinary. Tangier is no ordinary gateway. It has been a sultan’s court, a nest for spies, a muse for writers, and a crossroads of civilizations for centuries. Upon arrival, we enjoy a panoramic tour of some of its most emblematic sites: Cabo Espartel force, and the legendary Grutas de Hércules to Tetuán, a proud white city with one of Morocco’s most authentic medinas. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. First impressions already hint at what lies ahead: a country that fascinates at every turn.

DAY 2 – TANGER – VOLUBILIS – MEKNÉS – FEZ

Breakfast. We leave the north to venture into lands that still echo with the legacy of Rome and Morocco’s most powerful dynasties. Our first stop is Volubilis, an archaeological gem and testament to Roman splendor in North Africa. We stroll among fallen columns, villas with intact mosaics, and temples that have defied time. The main street, the Decumanus Maximus, guides us from the ancient gate of Tangier to the Arch of Caracalla, with views over the hills that once sustained the empire.

From Volubilis, we continue to Meknés, declared an imperial city by Sultan Moulay Ismail, one of Morocco’s most powerful and controversial monarchs. He ruled with an iron hand and transformed Meknés into a capital worthy of the tales of One Thousand and One Nights. We visit Plaza El-Hedim, vibrant and authentic, and admire the imposing Bab al-Mansour, a monumental gate combining marble, ceramics, and perfect symmetry. Meknés embodies the more solemn and regal side of Morocco.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Fez, the cultural jewel of the country. After check-in, we enjoy dinner at the hotel. The night in Fez breathes history—sleeping within its walls is to rest where sages, artisans, and princes have done so for over a thousand years.

DAY 3 – FEZ

Breakfast. Few cities in the world preserve a medina like that of Fez. Founded in the 8th century and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fez is not merely a setting—it is a total sensory experience. Today, we dedicate the day to discovering its immense heritage. After breakfast, we begin a tour to admire the seven golden gates of the Royal Palace, symbols of power and harmony. From there, we venture into the sacred labyrinth of Fez El-Bali, the oldest and largest medina in the country. Its narrow, traffic-free streets, full of life, hide secrets around every corner.

We follow the main artery from Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine, discovering ancient guilds, such as tanners who still dye leather in millennia-old vats, or coppersmiths working copper to the rhythm of hammers that seem to speak. The madrasas, former Quranic schools, open their courtyards decorated with zellige tiles and carved wood, witnesses to centuries of scholarship. After lunch in a traditional restaurant—a chance to savor a tagine prepared as it was in our grandparents’ homes—we have the rest of the afternoon free.

Optional dinner show for those who wish to explore local flavors independently. Overnight in this city that, even asleep, continues to pulse with life.

DAY 4 – FEZ – CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH

Breakfast. We departed early from Fez for Casablanca, the country’s economic and urban metropolis. Here, the past blends seamlessly with skyscrapers and Art Deco architecture.
Our stop included a stroll along the Corniche and an exterior visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Suspended over the Atlantic, this monumental structure was built by 3,000 artisans and symbolizes national pride.
Lunch is on your own. In the afternoon, we continued our journey to Marrakech, which welcomed us with its reddish hues, gardens, and the special energy that has made it the cultural capital of the Arab world. Upon arrival, we checked into our rooms, had dinner, and spent the night there.

DAY 5 – MARRAKECH

Breakfast. Marrakech isn’t just visited: it’s experienced. On this day, we explore its soul, from the meticulously maintained Menara Gardens—an ancient irrigation system brought from the Atlas Mountains through underground channels—to the Bahia Palace, a jewel of 19th-century architecture with painted ceilings and courtyards filled with orange trees.
The tour also includes the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, and continues to the city’s vibrant heart: Jemaa el-Fna Square. Storytellers, acrobats, Gnawa musicians, herbalists, and henna artists create a living theater. The square doesn’t just entertain; it enchants. We wander through the souks: a universe of spices, copper lamps, embroidered fabrics, and unique objects. We also visit a Berber pharmacy, where we discover essential oils, argan soaps, and age-old remedies. Lunch.
We recommend an optional activity or dinner show. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 – MARRAKECH – RABAT

Breakfast and departure for Rabat, the country’s political capital and one of the less-visited but beautiful imperial cities. Upon arrival, lunch on your own and the start of the tour. The unfinished Hassan Tower dominates the skyline next to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, guarded by the Royal Guard. Within its marble walls rests the monarch who achieved the country’s independence. We conclude with a stroll through the Kasbah of the Udayas, with its whitewashed houses, blue doors, and stunning views over the Bouregreg River. Dinner at a restaurant serving local cuisine and overnight stay.

DAY 7 – RABAT – TANGER – TARIFA – COSTA DEL SOL

After breakfast, we set off for Tangier, where we’ll board our ferry back to Spain. We leave behind the minarets, the souks, the city walls, and the legends. But Morocco has already taken root in our memories.
